Wire Antenna Tensioning mechanism

Thanks..... Dick Goodwin K4JJW

At the October meeting I gave a short presentation and demonstration of a wire antenna tensioner (tensioning mechanism) that I have developed. As I recall you weren't at the meeting. Its a light weight spring loaded tubular mechanism (2" x 59") that attaches in series with the support halyard and and antenna. It's a simple and effective way to keep antennas from breaking in the wind. It also eliminates the need for a pulley and counterweight for proper tension. Tension is adjusted and calibrated from the ground with the support halyard. Because it hides in the tree top canopy it is ideal for stealth applications.  Thanks..... Dick Goodwin K4JJW
