Ham Radio Licensing Classes

The Filling Station, in partnership with the New Bern Amateur Radio Club, typically hosts two separate amateur radio classes each year. There is usually a beginning class for non-hams to work on testing for the Technician level license, and another class training for the General level license for those that already have a Technician license.

Currently, we are taking applications for the next Technician class starting on October 4, 2025. Details below with a button link to the registration page on The Filling Station website.
